House Vadalis Menagerie loose outside of Throneport!

Merylsward, Elden Reaches. Late in the night of 27 Eyre or early in the first hours of the morning of 28 Eyre, House Vadalis reported that one of their testing facility's containment systems had been breached. Magebred creatures of all kinds, all of them various monstrosities, escaped into the local forest and Throneport's own Prismatic Guild was called upon to assist with corralling the threat and keep the locals safe.

As if somehow hoping to make up for their inability to keep their beasts where they should be, House Vadalis was generous enough to provide transportation for scores of Guild members and their Vice Captains, and with impressive organization, they split into groups to confront the danger.

Much to the consternation of the arranged agreements, however, all but one griffon was put down in the fierce combats that ensued.

There were flying creatures. Monstrosities with too many arms. Beasts that set an entire forest on fire. Manticores, giant toads, and all kinds of other escaped magebread things destroyed property, devoured animals, and injured those who'd come to gather them up again. A few Guild members were grievously wounded, but, thankfully, in a show of their great leadership and heroism, all of them survived.

House Vadalis has not made much of a public statement regarding any reason for the breach of containment nor the lack of personal security in retrieving their own magebred properties. No one has made themselves available for commentary as a representative of House business or security.
